The beaches in the Fajardo region are favorites among tourists and locals alike. Flamenco Beach, for example, was voted the 8th best in the world by a tourism website, and is located on Culebra Island. This is one of Puerto Rico's landmarks, with calm, crystal clear, warm waters in various shades of blue and green, as well as white sand.
